Our Events Calendar for 2025

CKiB - Annual Talk
Our Annual Talk this year was on Thursday 20th March.
Our speaker was the vastly experienced Julie Dolphin who talked about her career as a journalist and programme maker including her time as Monty Don's Horticultural Researcher and as a current nursery owner. She certainly gave us a lot of insights into what it was like to work with Monty Don and how he opens up his own private garden for the making of Gardeners' World.
Everyone who attended had an enjoyable evening ending up with tea, homemade cakes and chats to fellow gardeners.
All profits go toward supporting the work which Charlton Kings in Bloom volunteers do around our beautiful village.

CKiB - Annual Plant Fair
Our very popular Annual Plant Fair will be held on Saturday 10th May 2025 outside The Kings Hall.
Make it a date in your diary and come along to buy some vegetables and perennials grown by our Charlton Kings in Bloom experts. All plants will be in peat free soil and all proceeds will go toward further planting in our village.
Charlton Kings Futures will be joining us again this year with a number of displays where you will be able to get help and advice on a number of topics.

CKiB - Annual Trip
Our trip this year is to Coton Manor Gardens on
Saturday 28th June.
Coton Manor is a beautifully maintained ten acre garden of exceptional charm with unexpected vistas at every turn. It has won The Nation’s Favourite Garden as voted by garden visitors in conjunction with The English Garden magazine and NGS
